Pig Latin Correlation to Latin
Pig Latin is a code type of language that consists of a simple changing of English words. In pig latin, the beginning consonant of a word is moved to the end of the sentence to form a syllable starting with th consonate and ending with "ay." so the pig latin translation of "Jim threw the ball" is "Imjay hrewtay hetay allbay." I was curious to find why it was called pig latin, but found out that the latin idead is just a misnomer; it is just a way to make pig latin further sound like a strange and foreign language. It really has no correlation with Latin.
